Prospa appoints new BDM
Small business lending specialist Prospa today announced it has appointed a new Business Development Manager to its New Zealand team.
Adam Fasi will be responsible for supporting Prospa’s rapidly expanding adviser network in New Zealand. He will work closely with new and existing partners to increase awareness of alternative lending solutions and help them deliver funding to small business clients.
Prior to joining Prospa, Adam was Sales Development Manager at Eclipx Commercial New Zealand and Area Manager at FlexiGroup NZ Limited. He will be based in Auckland and has more than a decade’s experience in sales, including time as a Sales Adviser for Youi Insurance.
Adrienne Church, General Manager of Prospa New Zealand said:
“We’re excited to have Adam on board at Prospa as we continue to expand our New Zealand operations. Adam has great industry experience and a proven track record that will help us deliver our vision to keep small business moving. Growing our local team is just one way we’re supporting our partners to diversify and seize the opportunities in small business lending.”
“In the past three months alone, we’ve increased our maximum loan amount to $300,000, expanded the Express Path limit to applications up to $150,000 and launched a range of marketing and education resources for partners. It’s fantastic to have someone as passionate as Adam to help us deliver those ‘wow’ moments for advisers and their small business clients.”
Prospa has provided more than NZ$24 million in funding to Kiwi small business owners. The company recently announced the establishment of a NZ$45m warehouse facility, which will enable it to support even more small business owners across a range of industry sectors such as hospitality, retail, professional services and building and trade.
Prospa provides business loans between $5,000 to $300,000 with no upfront security required to access up to $100,000. Application takes just 10 minutes, businesses can receive same day approval, and funding is possible within 24 hours. Prospa currently works with more than 10,000 distribution partners across Australia and New Zealand, including aggregators, associations and trusted corporate brands.
