The 2026 Prospa Local Business Hero Awards have officially announced their regional finalists, recognising outstanding small businesses from across New Zealand. Now in its seventh year, the awards celebrate the often unsung community heroes behind local businesses. Public voting is open until 12 June, with the national winner to be announced on 17 June. The winner will receive $2,500 in cash plus an advertising package with Stuff.
