Nominate your 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero

Prospa are proud to partner with Neighbourly for the 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero Awards for the fourth year to recognise the unsung heroes in our Kiwi communities.

Here at Prospa, we’re firm believers that it’s the people who make a business, and who are the beating hearts that bring our communities together. That’s why for the fourth year, we’re proud to partner with Neighbourly for the 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero Awards to give our Kiwi communities the chance to recognise these unsung heroes who make such an impact in our communities.

This year we’re on the hunt again for the local business heroes in your community. The 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero Awards are now open, and you can nominate your favourite local business here: https://www.neighbourly.co.nz/businesshero. Both you and the business could be in to win some awesome prizes.

Last year’s winner was Robert Fenwick, the owner of Fenwicks Pharmacy in Kaiapoi.  Known for his great sense of humour, friendly manner and ongoing service and support through some of the community’s toughest times. Fenwicks Pharmacy remained open after the Christchurch earthquakes and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prospa New Zealand Managing Director, Adrienne Begbie, said it’s important to recognise local heroes in the community because they’re the people who have the most impact on everyday people.

“Times are tough in many parts of the country, and sometimes it’s the small things that can make a big difference. Prospa Local Business Hero recognises the ordinary folk out there who go about their business with a sense of joy and selflessness, whose impact on their communities are more far-reaching than what they do for a living.”

Regional finalists will be announced on 6 April 2023 and the overall 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero will be announced shortly after.
